Boosting Skin from Within

This post is on a new anti-ageing product that has really really grabbed my attention; so if you are not interested in anti-ageing products I would highly advise you leave now, but not before I tell you this: did you know that you begin to decay from the age of 21? You are at your peak at this age and it’s all down hill from there –so I’ve been told, I may well have been told this just to be cruel. So maybe anti-ageing products aren’t such a waste of time in your twenties, this product is really interesting and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Pure Gold Collagen is an anti-ageing drink –yes you heard me- with possibly the best ingredient ever: collagen. We all know that as you get older your collagen levels decrease and your skin loses elasticity; this yummy little drink helps stimulate collagen formation to promote younger looking skin, improve skin hydration and reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles. What more could you ask for?

Minerva Limited say that the product is aimed at anyone above the age of 25 who does not want make-up or cosmetic surgery to be their only options for younger looking skin. They even used the motto 'we are what we eat’, and say that their target consumer is interested in having more elastic, firmer, more hydrated and in essence a young looking skin. Europe is actually quite late on the bandwagon with this one, Japanese restaurants have recently been providing collagen rich food to beauty conscious women. Surely it must work if it has been successful enough to make it’s way over here?

It may be the perfect product for women looking for a more natural way to keep their skin at it’s best; the product is said to become a vital part of the beauty regime for women all over the world.

I am sure that to many women who struggle to find any lotions and potions that work for them, this product may sound very appealing. Cosmetic surgery is very expensive to pay for and maintain, and I can totally understand how women would feel now-a-days ‘losing their youth’ -so to say. There is so much pressure to stay young looking, which in my opinion is ridiculous, but for some, this little product could be a life saver or just that little glimmer of hope. I would love to see results from this product, I am also very intrigued as to what it tastes like, but right now, I am 4 years off for this product!

What do you guys think? If the product does what it is said to, would you consider drinking this every day to stay looking young as you grow older? Would you spend your money to try this out?

  1. God I best make the most of the next few months until I turn 21! I'm surprised and a little intrigued that it's a drink, rather than a cream. I would definitely favour skincare over surgery when it comes to anti-ageing solutions but that's mainly because I'm a massive wimp. Like you say, it must be pretty good if it's managed to come over from Japan. I'd be interested to find out what foods are collagen rich as they could be quite a bit cheaper (and maybe tastier) than the drink itself. Really interesting post!

    1. I definitely agree, surgery is a scary thought! I think I'd opt for creams or serums at the age I'm at now but who knows, if the product becomes really successful I could be tempted but hopefully a nice bit of Olay is all I will need hehe xxx

  2. I have extremely mixed feelings about this. On one hand it seems that it kinda makes sense. On the other hand it's internal treatment which makes me think back to the nasal fake tan. Hmm. I want to see some results on others first!:)xx

I definitely agree with you, it just seems unnatural in a way so I wonder what the bad points are! Would love to see more indepth reviews over the next month or so online!

  6. Oh great so I've been going downhill for two and a half years already, why did no one tell me this?!! I have read about using anti-ageing products in your 20's though and I have started to use certain items. I try not to worry too much about it now as if I did I will be a wreck when I'm 30 or even 40!

  7. I'm sorry but I don't buy into this. I'm in my mid 30's and ageing doesn't concern me, I am blessed with good genes but I take care of my skin & use appropriate skincare so far it's working for me. Sometimes ladies I think these companies are talking c**p and making lots of money from it.

    1. I totally agree with you, a lot of anti ageing products are a waste of time and who knows if this is any good. I think a good moisturiser and a good diet is good enough for healthy looking skin! I certainly am not in a hurry to try anything too extreme!xxx
